At WebStraw McMaster, we are on a mission to provide free, open-access resources for the McMaster community. We live in a time where resources are available to us everywhere. The problem lies in trying to find these resources and find out how to best use them. We search for resources on the 'web' and use a 'straw' to filter and find the best ones to be shared with everyone, hence the name WebStraw.
Our organization has two key principles.
Search & find free resources available to students. Every student should have an equal opportunity at learning, and no one should have any advantage over another due to unequal access to resources.
Using the student experience to help other students. Who knows and understands students better than their peers? Our team of students is here to share their personal experiences and strategies used to help you succeed in your academics and university experience.
